Evidence Panel
A side-by-side view showing any extracted output alongside its original source context. Read the extraction and the source simultaneously — see exactly what was captured, what was left out, and whether the extraction is faithful to the original.

The Problem We Solve
"I don't trust this summary — but I can't find the original"
When an AI conversation produces a summary, code block, or synthesised output, the extraction may be incomplete, decontextualised, or subtly wrong. The Evidence Panel makes verification visual and immediate — no manual source-hunting required.
"The extracted code doesn't match what I remember"
Code evolves across a conversation — early versions get revised, approaches get abandoned. The Evidence Panel shows exactly which version was extracted and the surrounding discussion that led to it.
"I need to verify claims before publishing"
Publishing extracted findings without checking sources is risky. The Evidence Panel is the verification step — confirm that every extraction accurately represents its source before it reaches the Publishing Layer.
How It Works
- Select — Choose any extracted output from the Extraction Studio or the Corpus Index
- Display — The extraction appears on the left; the original source appears on the right with matching passages highlighted
- Expand — View surrounding messages or paragraphs for broader context without leaving the panel
- Annotate — Add reviewer notes and corrections inline on either side
- Verify — Toggle verification status: verified, disputed, or needs-review
- Navigate — Click through to the full source in the Source Browser for complete context
